BlackBerry uses a proprietary operating system, the BlackBerry OS, which in addition to the features of a smart phone has its own messaging service called BBM. The term was coined by the company marks Lexicon Branding, inspired by the similarity of the keys of the BlackBerry phones drupe which is composed of the delay.
